Einen weiteren Clip aus ihrer Reihe „In The Open" haben YOUNG THE GIANT kürzlich veröffentlicht. Regelmäßig geben sie hierfür an der frischen Luft in schönem Ambiente akustische Stücke zum Besten. Dieses Mal boten sie „Typhoon" unter einer Brücke dar, mit der es folgendes auf sich hat:
"'Typhoon' was filmed in Dana Point, CA under a bridge that serves as the eternal doorway to the downward sloping path to the ocean. At this beach, everyone must walk underneath it in order to get back home or into the waves. Under this bridge, there is a vast blue mural of sea turtles, kelp and anemone. It is some sort of stone. Acoustic brilliance. We figured it would be the best setting for the dynamics of 'Typhoon.' In the night, we struggle to see. We use glow sticks to light the bridge. Many walked past. Some left, and others listened."
